Welcome to EE541 Convolutional Neural Networks

The course will cover various correlated concepts starting with an overview of machine learning fundamentals and following with image/signal classification approaches, neural networks and convolutional neural networks (CNN), recurrent neural networks and generative networks. The course will focus mainly on understanding how to design and visualize deep CNNs trained for computer vision and other signal processing purposes.

Due to the extraordinary situation we are all in, and with the permission of the Çankaya University Senate, we are changing the grading of the course for this semester.

  • Final (1): %40
  • Project (1): %50 (%25 online Presentation + %25 Project Report)
    • A network training practice using MATLAB or Python (and using a deep learning library of your choice)
